LinkScout automates internal SEO linking for your content using AI to find the appropriate internal links!
One important part of SEO is internal linking as it helps search engines discover content and learn what the subject matter of different pages are. However, that’s an incredibly tedious process that’s difficult to manage as your site grows.
LinkScout automates the entire process and is platform agnostic, meaning you can put it on any site, whether it uses a CMS or not! The end user simply drops an embed code on the site and LinkScout handles the rest.
In 3 months it has grossed $700. It currently has 4 recurring customers at $50/mo.
The OpenAI costs are almost entirely dependent on new signups because most of the cost is around indexing content (which is mostly a one-off process/cost). So that sort scales up with new users but it varies and is frontloaded.
Render hosting costs could absolutely be reduced using something like Hatchbox to self-manage.
These are things that I didn’t get around to building but could be good additions.
This project never really got its big “launch” as I started on it around the holidays and then Maybe sort of…exploded. 🫣 Here are some ideas on ways to grow this thing, in no particular order.
By the end of 2024, MRR growth should be averaging 10% per month.
2025: 8% average monthly growth
2026: 6% average monthly growth
2027: 5% average monthly growth
2028+ you should maintain at least 10% annual growth
$25,000 — The benefit of this is you don’t need to pay out any % of revenue or future acquisition plus no growth goals that trigger me getting the project back.
